Chinese Lantern

If you want to sow the seeds of the lantern plant, it is best to do this around May. Although the plant is known as a perennial, keeping it in gardens in the Benelux is difficult. The above-ground parts die off in the autumn. The plant does, however, spring up again.

Take care! Often some restraint of the expanding root system in the garden is necessary, it has a tendency to proliferate.
