Aster

The Flower Aster belongs to the family of composites (Compositae or Asteraceae). Because of the beautiful flowering, many species have been cultivated as garden plants.

Advice from the gardener

Sow the aster flower seeds each year in a different place in the garden. Remove the dead flowers; this will prolong the flowering time.
