Poppy

In our assortment we have 3 different kinds of poppy seeds. Poppies are one of the best known red flowers that grow wild.

No butterflies but bees

Did you know that the poppy doesn't contain nectar? That's why you don't see any butterflies in these flowers. The plants do contain pollen, therefore the bees keep visiting these flowers and the survival of the poppy is also guaranteed.

Edible flowers

The poppy is also sometimes used in food. The seeds of the poppy are used on sandwiches.
