Sowing in April? We can go wild! Orders will be processed and shipped the same day!

11-04-2025

Dear Garden lovers,

Over the past few weeks, many of you have already ordered seeds, for which we thank you! If you haven't bought seeds yet, no problem! We make sure that every order placed before 4pm will be shipped the same day. The only problem is that Postnl (or the local postal service) sometimes makes a mess of it. For destination Netherlands send everything with the 24-hour postal service of Postnl, but... well, it often goes well and the seeds are delivered quickly.

Weather forecast for the coming 14 days

The weather forecast for the next 14 days looks excellent. There may be a little splash of rain this weekend, but after that the sun will start shining brightly again! Lovely weather for working in the garden.

Sowing in April

Now we can go wild... You can sow almost all kinds of seeds in April. Of course it starts with buying seeds, you are certainly not too late in April, the whole sowing season is still ahead of you. To sow directly in the garden, it does depend a bit on temperatures. Some years it is warm early, others it is still freezing in April. But, for many varieties, it is generally true that you can sow them directly in the garden. Of course, this does not apply to species that like warmth, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, melons and so on. You can already sow those indoors, but not yet directly outdoors in the open ground. You can grow sprouting vegetable seeds and microgreens seeds all year round.
