iceberg lettuce is a crop variety with a fairly crispy leaf, in contrast to butter lettuce or lettuce. One of the most important properties is the long shelf life. The heads can become very strong and therefore need more space than the normal lettuce. Great Lakes forms large, sturdy heads with slightly serrated leaves, is slow shooting and stays in the refrigerator for a long time. It is best to germinate at a fairly low temperature (up to approximately 18°C). A little cold breaks the germ rest.

Slow-bolting iceberg lettuce with crispy and crunchy leaves. Can be kept very well in your fridge.
