The medium-high plants feature strong leaves. 'Phiavita' is suitable for outdoor cultivation or cold greenhouse and produces single clusters, each containing about 12 tomatoes of about 30-40 g with firm flesh. These midi San Marzano tomatoes, with a characteristic long, slightly dented shape, can be harvested loose with or without a crown but also as trusses.

Intermediate resistance means that a variety is much stronger against a certain disease, but can still eventually be affected by it. Tests show that 'Phiavita' performs excellently against Phytophthora.
