This is a 7.5-metre-long seed tape already sown with beetroot seeds, ready to use straight away in the garden. Find a spot in the garden with enough space. You can cut the tape into, for example, 5 strips of 1.5 metres. Prepare a nice, even seedbed, free from large clods of earth.

From mid-April to mid-July, lay the strips on the bed (spaced approximately 30 cm apart). Press the strip down gently and cover it with 1 cm of soil. Keep the soil moist. You can harvest the beetroot in the autumn; those sown a little later can be stored for a very long time in the fridge.
