Nest Box Curacao Green

This is an FSC wooden nesting box with a 32 mm diameter entrance hole, suitable for many species of small birds:

• Tits: Place nest box 1m to 2m heigh from the ground.
• Sparrow: Place on trees and buildings 2m or higher, avoid areas of disturbance.
• Pied Flycatcher: Place in a woodland by clearing if possible, between 2m - 4m high.

Tips:
• Site out of reach of potential predators.
• Place away from prevailing winds, rain and strong sunlight.
• Place away from bird tables and feeders.
• Once occupied leave undisturbed until fledglings have left the nest.

How to clean:
• Clean box after birds have finished breeding.
• To open box for cleaning, simply slide out the base.
• Remove old nesting materials and scrub box with hot water.
