With these organic pansy flower seeds, you can grow the annual wild pansy (Viola tricolour). This plant produces purple-yellow-white flowers that bloom for a long time, providing a fresh, natural look in the garden or in pots. Additionally, the flowers are edible and can be used decoratively in salads or dishes. The wild pansy remains low-growing with a height of about 10 cm and is suitable for both full sun and partial shade. One seed packet is sufficient for approximately 12 m².

Sow directly outdoors from April in a sunny to partially shaded spot. The seeds can also be sown in autumn or early spring for an early bloom. Sow on fine, loosened, and slightly moist soil. Cover the seeds very thinly with soil or press them down gently, as they require light to germinate properly. Keep the soil evenly moist until germination, which usually occurs within 10 to 20 days at mild temperatures. The young plants can be thinned out or transplanted after emergence. The tricolour pansy is also excellently suited for pots and flower boxes, where it provides long-lasting colour.
