With these sweet corn seeds, you can grow the sweet corn variety ‘Golden Rush’. This is a medium-early, open-pollinated variety comparable to standard sweet corn grown commercially. Even after harvesting, the kernels retain their exceptionally sweet flavour for a long time, without becoming mealy.

Sowing instructions
During warm weather, the seedlings grow rapidly into strong plants. For good (wind) pollination, it is best to plant them in groups. Provided they are well fertilised, they develop beautifully cylindrical cobs, densely packed right to the tip, with golden-yellow, tasty kernels. These are well protected by the numerous, strong husks that close tightly around the entire cob right to the tip, preventing damage from birds.It is best to sow directly into the open ground from mid-May to June. You can then usually harvest the delicious sweetcorn between July and September.
