Organic Forage Rye - Green manure

This organic green manure forage rye is not prone to frost, gives fast and good soil coverage and very good rooting.

Winter rye keeps the soil covered over the winter, is effective against erosion and effective in fixing drift-prone soil. After winter, the crop is 20 to 40 cm high and can be mowed. Crop residues should be undercut (by tilling and/or ploughing) to prevent regrowth.
