Sowing: 8 to 10 plants per m2. Sowing twice (mid-May and late June) gives a good harvest spread.Harvesting: Long harvesting period and high yield. Harvesting starts a little later than with runner beans.
When growing in the greenhouse, you can also let the beans climb up along a rope; you attach the rope to a horizontally drawn steel wire, for example. This saves building a structure of canes. Growing pole beans in the greenhouse generally gives extra yield.
