It's been so hot these past few days...! The vegetable plants and flowers were crying out for water. The soil is hard and dry. It is difficult to absorb water at the moment and therefore it is extra important to give enough water and if necessary to loosen the soil before you water. Don't forget to 'water' yourself from time to time... :-)

What a weather! Hard winds, snow, rain and more misery. In our hometown Volendam we only had wind...no snow flakes. In the course of the day we even had sunshine!

Over the past few weeks, many of you have already ordered seeds, for which we thank you! If you haven't bought seeds yet, no problem! We make sure that every order placed before 4pm will be shipped the same day. The only problem is that Postnl (or the local postal service) sometimes makes a mess of it. For destination Netherlands send everything with the 24-hour postal service of Postnl, but... well, it often goes well and the seeds are delivered quickly.

This year is coming to an end and we think we can look back on a great gardening year. The year started rather wet...then very warm with nice weather until the end of November anyway. On Instagram and facebook we have seen many beautiful pictures of satisfied customers who had a good harvest. We are very happy about this!
